Inflammation Wellness Test

Description:

The Inflammation Panel includes blood tests that are known as inflammatory markers that can detect inflammation in the body related to certain diseases and infections.

- ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)

- PCT (Procalcitonin)

What is tested? 

- C-Reactive Protein (CRP) test measures levels of CRP to help indicate if cases of inflammation or infection are occurring.

- Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) test is used to measure the degree of inflammation in the body.

- Procalcitonin (PCT) is a test that measures the level of procalcitonin in the blood. A high level could be a sign of a serious bacterial infection, such as sepsis, and can determine if you have another serious bacterial infection in the early stages.
